Leadership Responsibilities:

Coaches and leads staff on sales process (GRIP).

Participate in Business Development and New Customer Prospect calls.
Small Business Lending Responsibilities:

Manages Central House portfolio and submits CH loans to Central Decisioning for credit analysis and recommendation.

Maintains a general understanding of the commercial loan process and ability to assist commercial loan officers.May be asked to facility business loan closings, including obtaining proper signatures on commercial loan renewals.
Consumer Lending Responsibilities:

Analyzes applicant financial status, credit, and asset evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan and opportunity for cross selling of River Valley products and services.

Submits loan applications via the Consumer Lending system for credit analysis and recommendation.

Understands and adheres to the Loan Policy Guidelines related to consumer lending.

Understands and adheres to all consumer loan compliance requirements.
-
Develops and expands business networks through participation in community events, business after hour events, non-profit volunteer opportunities, etc.
Customer Account Opening/Maintenance Responsibilities (Consumer and Business Accounts):
-
Follows systemic approach to deepening relationships with customers following a defined sales relationship process.

Prepare and compile customer information and application to open new accounts with the assistance of technology.
-
Create accurate CIF (Customer Information File) and CIP (Customer Identification Program) files for all customers through using our integrated systems.
-
Accurately prepares and submits file maintenance for existing accounts with proper documentation electronically.

Knowledgeable in discussing and recommending Cash Management products to our business customers.
-
Attain and/or maintain appropriate document for accounts, i.e. Death Certificates, POA's, POD's, Trusts, and Court Letters.

Is responsible to generate business results through referrals and attain goals as outlined within the position related to accuracy, ICE delivery and referral results.

Interactively assist the customer with technology through online banking and our mobile app. Show the customer how to use our online and app services. Be knowledgeable in how to use iPhone, Android and tablet devices.
Customer Relationship Sales:

With a good understanding of bank products/services and the customer's current relationship, offers information on bank products and services that can benefit the customer and enhance their banking relationship.(Listens to the customer's needs and matches those needs to the bank's products and services resulting in quality referrals.)

Possess a sales mentality, understanding the need to hold oneself personally accountable to following sales behaviors and routines in an environment committed to building relationships and relationship selling.
Customer Transactions:
-
Accepts customer transactions for processing including deposits, cashing checks, processing loan payments and change orders. Responsible for identifying the customer, verifying amounts and following endorsement procedures.

Enters customers' transactions into computer to record transactions, and issues computer generated receipts.

Orders working supply of cash, and counts incoming and outgoing cash.

Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen.

Removes deposits from, and counts and balances cash in deposits obtained through the night depository as required.

Follows, acknowledges, and adheres to applicable policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform other related duties as required or assigned that are in the spirit of this job description and position as necessary for the Bank and the Department to function effectively.

May be responsible for vault and/or coin machine to include but not limited to balancing, operating equipment and verification of documents.

May be expected to fill in at other bank locations based on business/staffing requirements.

May be responsible for location related projects or community focused events.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
May be responsible for supervising employees and function in the role of a Market Manager in the absence of the Manager or within a bank structure/staffing model of a larger scale ($60mm+ asset size).
