Job Summary

The overriding business objective for the Electrical Engineer 2 will be to help grow the business by successfully designing innovative aircraft power systems. The key performance objectives for this position are described below.

  • Support Innovative Power Systems. The successful Product Support Electrical Engineer 2 will leverage their education and experience to support the design and production of new technology electrical power systems. The Engineer will perform integral troubleshooting of internal and external customer product issues including but not limited to; design, analysis, testing, documentation, and production required while supporting and launching new and sustaining products. The successful Product Support Electrical Engineer 2 has the skills to understand the design of AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC power conversion systems, motor control, magnetics design, PCB layout, EMI filtering, and power distribution systems. The Product Support Electrical Engineer 2 will provide technical support production to ensure functionality, on time development, and delivery. Support of aircraft installations and field issues as needed. We are looking for high performance engineers with a desire to learn and support power system products. The expectation is that within 3 months of hire, the Electrical Engineer 2 will be contributing to the successful entry into service of an aircraft power product. Within 6 months, the expectation is that that the engineer will be fully capable of responding and analyzing complex technical support issues of new and sustaining products.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 2 years experience in advanced, high power, electronic power conversion.

Eligibility Requirement: Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.

This position may require knowledge of SOX / 404 internal audit controls and related documentation.
