Senior Director, Marketing Events 


Tabula Rasa HealthCare, Inc. is a family of companies that leverages technology to improve healthcare. TRHC works with providers and insurers to identify multi-drug interactions and to reduce risk of medication-related problems. We have developed the first multi-drug interaction tool that identifies risk across a variety of safety factors and presents meaningful opportunities to mitigate that risk. This technology can be used to assess safety at the individual patient-level or to stratify medication risk at the population-level, and can be embedded within any EMR or other healthcare IT system.

The Marketing Events Manager will be responsible for development, planning and execution for TRHC company-wide events, activities and meetings to ensure satisfaction and smooth event execution. Business goals will support marketing and sales efforts for existing, newly acquired and newly interested markets of Tabula Rasa HealthCare business units. Certain activities and meetings will also support internal corporate and business goals.

The Marketing Events Manager is responsible managing the event from concept to completion, team members of varying levels of experience and skills, vendor partnerships, budgets and timelines. The Marketing Events Manager is responsible for delivering projects of high quality, on time and to budget through the effective management of timelines, people and resources. This individual is an integral part of the TRHC marketing team, and will lead the events programs for the team. Working with cross-functional staff, this individual will develop events and exhibits and create and execute programs to drive awareness, facilitate lead generation, impact sales, and nurture a loyal customer base. This individual will also develop internal events and manage meetings to support employee, education and corporate goals and objectives.


  • Works with cross-functional teams to analyze events and meeting needs ensuring that they fit with resourcing, project objectives and quality standards.

  • Project management and coordination

  • Program planning, execution, task management, vendor relations, administrative, upkeep and event updates, communications liaison and scheduling

  • Budget management – plan to budget/notify of status

  • Maintains detailed timelines, project plans, and hours budgeted for project deliverables and key milestones.Communicates when these change with alternative options to deliver them on time.

  • Has the flexibility to work within an ever-changing workload while still managing projects by effectively setting, observing and re-evaluating project priorities often.

  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of meetings and events.

  • Manages multiple events simultaneously and understand meeting and event priorities.

  • Responsible for production, timeline and resourcing issues.

  • Events include but not limited to: Board Meetings, Corporate Events, Company Exhibits, Client Events, Employee Events, Education Events, University Events and Human Resources Events

Responsibilities include:

  • Develops events and meeting proposals and program design

  • Develops and manages program budgets, reconciliation and event income and expenses

  • Determines client needs (internal and external) and services required

  • Sets and develops timelines, project management task lists and division of duties

  • Manages logistics, operations, schedules and production coordination

  • Manages site selection, RFP creation and management, site inspections and recaps

  • Coordinates all amenities and accommodations including staff, site selection, food, transportation and equipment

  • Oversee overall project execution and performance and impact

Position Requirements


  • Bachelors in Marketing, Communications or related field.

Experience & Training:

  • 5+ years’ professional event management experience, marketing project management experience, managing client marketing programs.

  • Project Management, timelines and task management

  • Registration and communications best practices

  • Facilities management, audio-visual, room layouts and design

  • Production, staging and on site execution

  • Menu planning & design

  • Vendor sourcing and management

  • Contracting, negotiations and compliance

  • Event budgeting and financials

  • Contingency and emergency planning

  • Leadership and strong interpersonal skills

  • Travel required, long days and some weekends. Membership and attendance at key industry events are expected.
