Our unwavering commitment to our Associates, their health and safety, self-directed work teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement create a rewarding and fun place to work.   Description Job Summary As a member of the Accounting team the Accounting Generalist is responsible for supporting a variety of essential accounting functions including but not limited to month-end close, general ledger accounting, fixed asset accounting, budgeting, insurance and tax for various NCC subsidiaries, including BMC. Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Bachelors Degree in Accounting with 3 years of related experience, or equivalent education experience combination.CPA or CMA designation a plus. Strong knowledge of GAAP. Ability to prioritize tasks, with strong organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Strong computer skills. Ability to exercise independent judgment to perform essential duties. Ability to work a flexible schedule - potential for over 40 hours a week, primarily during the first two weeks of the month Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Critical thinking skills and accuracy are necessary to perform essential job functions.
