The duration of assignment is anticipated to be 6 months or less. This role will be responsible for end user support on computing, telecommunications, audio/video, multi-function printers and general office equipment. Responsibilities: Coordinate helpdesk, answer calls, input tickets and assign to staff Setup and configure PC hardware and software as required. Solve basic computer hardware and software problems at the user level. Coordinate support to correct more complex problems. Follow up on external (vendor) support to ensure user satisfaction. Monitor status of personal computers throughout the organization. Conduct regular updates for installed software. Recommend priorities for upgrading user hardware based on user activities. Research hardware and software prices for PC related purchases and recommend purchase configurations. Monitor status of organizational printing equipment. Coordinate with vendor(s) to resolve problems. Take proactive action to maximize operational up-time. Maintain inventory on printing supplies (toner, staples, etc..) Frequently lifts and carries PCs, monitors, printers and other computer devices.   Position Requirements Requirements: Experience supporting Intel/Windows platform personal computers and Microsoft Office products. Experience supporting Macintosh computers a plus. Basic understanding of network infrastructures and protocols.
