Designs and delivers data reports, reporting systems and dashboard content. Communicates with IT and Business Unit customers on needed data systems and reports. Participates in design of extraction transformation, and loading of data into various data warehouse systems. Data Modeling Analysis Leads effort in establishing and maintaining standards for managing areas of model risk: development and implementation, governance and documentation, and model performance. Provides statistical analysis and reporting for IT and Business management review, and provides recommendations for automation and productivity gains. Performs validations of various models within Tax Services and manage the resolution of audit or third party findings. Validation includes assessment of model conceptual soundness, evaluation of data and assumptions, testing model computational accuracy, and performing outcomes analysis (such as back-testing and benchmarking). Consults with model users on the design of effective model operational controls. Maintains knowledge and expertise by monitoring white papers, industry developments and other key knowledge sources. Stays informed of the ways the organization uses its data, and define best practices in automating manual steps. Builds and defines system/data requirements for implementations/new projects. Collaborates with DBA's to develop data models that meet the needs of the organization's information systems. Manages the flow of information between departments through the use of relational databases, reporting tools (BOE). Maintains data integrity by working to eliminate redundancy and manual processes. Analyzes and reviews programs and software to improve productivity, automation, and individual accountability. Stays abreast of the latest industry tools and trends in regards to Tax Services, and other supporting business lines. This position will perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the department.   Position Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Five years of data analysis experience. Five years of experience with reporting tools suchs as BOE or Cognos. Five years experience with relational database tools supporing SQL Server and/or Oracle. Experience with Microsoft SQL reporting tools required including SQL, PLSQL, SQLLoader.
