Share Email Opening Title Account Manager - General Contractor  We are RMC None Specified  Position Requirements Experience and Requirements for the position are as follows, but are not limited to: Five years’ experience in a Sales and Marketing capacity performing business to business sales to General Contractors and related entities. Strong knowledge of General Contracting firms and their client base. Strong knowledge of General Contractor usage of Sub-Contracting firms and identifying opportunities to provide services as a Sub-Contractor. Past experience coordinating and completing RFP’s, vendor agreements, and bid opportunities for General Contracting firms. Proven track record in securing new accounts and opportunities and maintaining relationships at existing accounts. Strong written and verbal skills. Strong time management skills. Ability to excel in both a self-managed and team environment. Participate in job related functions beyond the standard business hours. Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Software, CRM platforms, Adobe software, and Apple products. Position to be based in No. California area, preferable for candidate to reside in Bay Area.   Description The Account Manager will provide business development efforts targeting General Contractors in the Northern California area and potentially throughout California as a whole. This position will partner with regional and branch leadership to develop and implement a strategic plan to grow market share from existing accounts while securing new clients and opportunities. As an Account Manager, this individual will be expected to develop strong partnerships with clients/accounts for the purpose of increasing market share and revenue opportunities for the company as a whole. Core responsibilities for this position are as follows, but are not limited to: Actively identify and develop new accounts utilizing phone, in-person appointments, and introductions by attending local and regional events. Retain and increase existing account revenue through total account penetration and implementation of marketing initiatives. Identify, assist in execution of, and provide support of RFP’s, vendor agreements, bid opportunities, and overall customer correspondence. Develop and implement marketing strategies with assigned market segment and client base to support organization’s revenue objectives. Comprehend overall market dynamics and emerging business opportunities and risks with assigned accounts.
