GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Assistant Executive Director is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in administration of all components of the Pathfinder Organization. This may include management of staff, assets, programs and services. These functions are performed under the direction of the Executive Director. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provides direct supervision of targeted departments as assigned. 2. Coordinates specific functions/services across multiple Pathfinder Departments such as Supported Employment, Integrated Care Plans, the program component of Electronic Health Records etc. 3. Functions as primary in-house legal liaison for legal issues related to personnel issues, EEOC complaints, lawsuits, garnishments, guardianships, etc. This involves working with relevant Pathfinder staff and external agencies. 4. Represents Pathfinder/Director in a variety of external task groups, committees, etc. 5. Acts as interim director of various departments in the event of vacancies. 6. Works closely with Executive Director, Director of Compliance, Controller and other key positions to develop and implement the strategic plans of the organization. 7. Acts as Executive Director in the Director’s absence. 8. Performs any other related duties as required or assigned. |
