Bonnie Brae currently has great career opportunities for Childcare Counselors. These positions provide supervision, counseling, behavior management and monitoring of the basic needs for the boys who live in cottages on campus. You will work with the interdisciplinary treatment team members to develop individual treatment plans which guide the Childcare Counselor's interactions with each resident. The daily cottage program is conducted by the Childcare Counselor to address group behavior and needs. Responsibilities include leading resident group meetings, coordinating recreation activities, participating in other group functions and physical plant management.
Shifts are 3 PM - 11 PM or 11 PM - 9 AM including weekends.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or 3 to 5 years' experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or similar setting. Recreation experience a plus.
