Job Summary

The role of the CRR Test Operator 2 is to perform technical activities relating to customer repair and return department. Perform a wide variety of tasks related to setting up, operating, and testing of all types of company products. Work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform tasks. Check and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Read resident plans, production drawings, standard practices and communicate effectively. Read test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.

  • Test functional performance of systems, subassemblies, and parts under specified environmental conditions such as temperature change, vibration, pressure and humidity.

  • Connect unit to be tested to test equipment such as signal generator, frequency meter or spectrum analyzer.

  • Read dials or digital displays that indicate electronic characteristics such as voltage, frequency, distortion, inductance and capacitance.

  • Analyze test results on defective units to determine cause of failure.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, and two years related experience.

Eligibility Requirement: Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.

This position may require knowledge of SOX / 404 internal audit controls and related documentation.
