Share Email Opening Title Sr Subject Matter Expert (SME)  Req Number SUB-18-00016   Category Subject Matter Expert   Sector/Group   Clearance Requirements TS/SCI   Location Nellis AFB, NV   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Description Candidate will provide engineering, test, and analysis services to the feasibility study director (FSD) in the conduct of the Joint-Hypersonic Strike Planning and Execution Command and Control (J-HyperSPEC2) Joint Feasibility Study (JFS). The J-HyperSPEC2 JFS will determine the need and feasibility of conducting a joint test (JT) to address command and control concept of operations, including authorities, planning, and force management, for hypersonic weapons spanning operational and strategic levels of war. The J-HyperSPEC2JFS will also develop a comprehensive test concept in the form of a Project Master Plan (PMP) and Consolidated Resource Estimate (CRE) that supports successful resolution of the J-HyperSPEC2problem upon completion of the JT. The sponsor is United States Strategic Command with participation by Joint Staff, United States European Command, United States Pacific Command, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space, Strategic, and Intelligence Systems. This position will function as the test Subject Matter Analyst responsible for development of CONOPS and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures. It will also provide insight and knowledge on global strike missions in a Joint or Combined Operations Center. Will possess demonstrated experience with air and submarine-based cruise missile planning and execution. Will have experience developing command and control concept of operations. This SMA will provide liaison across the testing community and support the warfighter experts as we test the TTP developed. SME Qualifications: - Experience with planning and execution of global missile strike missions in a Joint or Combined Operations Center - Demonstrated experience with air and submarine-based cruise missile planning and execution - Familiarity with Joint processes, operations, and commands. - Familiarity with end-to-end operations and processes from National level through Unit execution Additional Notes: - This position requires an active DoD TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE   Position Requirements BS degree with 8+ years relevant experience (20 years for SEA III) Global Strike (B-52, B-2, ICBM, or SLBM) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) must have a rich and deep domain expertise and experience in one or more of Global Strike weapon systems and/or USSTRATCOM assigned Global Strike mission area. Accomplishment of appropriate DOD professional military education The SME must be knowledgeable of and able to speak and write authoritatively on all aspects of their weapon system and the Global Strike mission area including planning, operations, mission systems, advocacy, and processes related to that mission area. Eight+ years experience in test procedures and test processes Eight+ years experience in base defense C2 processes and integration for operational mission accomplishment Experience with NC2 Experience with CNWDI Experience with Air Operations Center and Command level processes and procedures. Background or understanding of Targeting and Operational Planning processes is highly desired DoD level COCOM Operational Experience desired Demonstrated experience and detailed knowledge with the Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) program.
