C. Experience / Requirements

The Billing Support Administrator position requires the following:

  • Industry Experience is a plus but not necessary
  • Work in a team environment or as an individual
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (mainly Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Pleasant “telephone voice”; Courteous and efficient telephone manner
  • Occasionally work overtime or weekends when necessary, especially during peak season
  • Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent

D. Working Conditions

Working conditions for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Continuous sitting and typing
  • May lift up to 10 lbs above head for filing and storing
 
Description

A. Job Summary

Billing Support Administrator communicates with Project and Branch Managers to discuss billing content and issues. Analyzes billing content and timely data entry into Billing programs is required daily. The Billing Support Administrator reports directly to Central Billing Manager.

B. Key Responsibilities

Core responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Enter data into Billing programs in a timely
  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers and Branch Managers
  • Examine worksheets prepared by Project Managers to determine if there are
  • unnecessary and/or lacking charges for service rendered
  • Prioritize billing and uploads for all Branches
  • Fax bills to adjusters and occasionally call them to discuss issues
  • Update billing programs with claim information
  • Collect daily worksheets from all branches via fax and e-mail
  • Input data and submit tracking reports for Corporate review
  • Process bills efficiently to make daily and monthly goals
  • Assist Call Center with overflow of phone calls and covering lunches, when necessary
  • Periodic ride-a-longs with crews and Project Managers to increase knowledge which will
  • help with the billing process
  • Crossed trained in Water / Fire / Mold / Asbestos / Program Work and Large Loss
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
