We are actively looking for a Designer who will provide a broad range of hands-on support to the creative department, from original design and conceptual work, to preparing impeccable files for production across the spectrum of on- and off-line media. What You'll Be Doing Works closely with Creative partners to develop finished materials in all media, including (but not limited to): landing pages and microsites to direct mail and email, print and digital ads, downloadable collateral assets, and corporate identity, per client needs Understands both communication goals and production requirements for print, digital and broadcast; can capably assist creative teams develop visuals across all media Creates, refines and revises visual assets — infographics, iconography, photoshop/retouch assignments, tables, charts, graphs, etc. Works collaboratively with copywriters, account services, production and development partners to create original communications, from written and verbal input Works under direction of creative and project management to correct existing art files as needed Prepares computer files for print production and digital implementation with correct and proper handling of imported text, graphic elements, and fonts Constructs comp/samples for presentation and pre-press specification as required for production Stays current with latest version of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.) and exhibits a high level of skill across all required applications Has some familiarity with, and develops an expanding working ability in, video editing applications (i.e.: Final Cut, After Effects, etc.) Creates sample overview schematics for art director approval and presentation Occasional travel required as needed Assumes additional responsibilities as required   Position Requirements What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university 2+ years in professional commercial design, preferably in a marketing or creative agency Must have portfolio demonstrating the creativity required to present ideas, words, and visual/graphic work Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) Proficient releasing files for print/direct mail release to vendors Understands UI/UX, proficient releasing files for digital media Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Must be able to: Work as part of a committed team with creative and account service colleagues to meet deadlines Execute multiple projects simultaneously Generate respect from peers Work individually as well as collaboratively, team player who enjoys working with and as a part of a larger team Absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients Adheres to the policies and procedures of the agency and contributes to a positive work environment EOE M/F/D/V   Category Creative Services   Location DMW Direct - Chesterbrook   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   This position is currently not accepting applications.
