Description

JOB SUMMARY:       Responsible for consumer billing and assisting with general clerical duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  1. Collects, counts and disburses money
  2. Responsible for maintaining consumer billing; does basic bookkeeping and completes banking transactions
  3. Researches and maintains consumer insurance information, as needed
  4. Responsible for fee collections and payments
  5. Keeps accurate records of consumer funds and petty cash
  6. Assist with consumer account reconciliation and petty cash disbursement
  7. Completes data entry for consumer billing
  8. Maintain, monitor and update consumer records.
  9. Assists with in-house building maintenance work orders
  10. Assists with receptionist duties (i.e., answering phones, greeting customers)
  11. Performs other clerical duties (i.e., typing, filing, distributing mail, providing information, etc.)

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:  N/A

Other Duties:

1. Provide excellent customer service

2. Develop & accurately maintain Program financial records including revenue & expenses and ensure this information is current & provided to Program Director.

3. Responsible for the collection of data as to services provided and entering same into    Anasazi system for billing purposes

5. Ensure all monthly reports are completed and submitted to Program Director. These include:

       - Program statistics - keeping accurate records of data collected from Team members

       - Provide Program Director with data for comparison of commitments 

         vs. performance                                        

       - Assist Program Director with necessary preparations for inspections by regulatory

          bodies   

6. Participate in job related trainings

7. Act as receptionist for calls coming into RIST

8 Arrange transportation for consumers

9. Schedule consumer medical appointments          

10. Complete special projects as assigned by the Director.

 

 
Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:  Knowledge of office practices and procedures.  Skilled in word processing, spreadsheets and other computer applications.  Ability to perform basic accounting functions.  Effective oral and written communication skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  High School diploma or GED + 2 years cash handling experience.
