Office Assistant 


Assist Associate Director with daily tasks in operating the Facilities Department. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Receptionist - answer telephone, coordinate visitors and contractors with Facilities staff
  • Respond to phone requests from other departments or outside contractors for those tasks which require immediate attention by Facilities. Coordinate with Facilities staff via radio and/or phone.
  • Mail processing both incoming and outgoing
  • Assist in weekly invoice processing
  • Filling
  • Prepare end of month billing and reporting
  • Assist in Budget reconciliation at end of month
  • Maintain work order system both electronically and by paper
  • Maintain cleaners supply inventory and usage
  • Maintain data base for utility consumption
  • Perform various administrative tasks
  • Provide other work as requested or required to operate Facilities Dept.
  • Run various weekly/monthly reports as assigned


30 Hours per week. Monday through Friday 9:00AM – 3:30PM

Position Requirements
  • At least 5 years’ work experience in receptionist setting
  • 3 years’ work experience with General accounting practices with proficiency in Excel
  • Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office Professional (Word, Excel, and Power Point) and knowledge of Access preferred.
  • Must be able to operate multi line telephone system
  • Must be organized and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be dependable, team player and enjoys the fast paced environment

Morgan, America's oldest commercial ship still in existence.
