Our Team: The Staff Accountant for The Company applies principles of accounting to ensure financial statements are fairly stated by maintaining the general ledger in order to properly report financial information to management. What you will be doing: - Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts including posting journal entries.
- Daily and monthly reconciliation of Credit Card transactions with bank accounts
- Reconcile bank accounts on a weekly and monthly basis
- Maintain fixed assets accounts and determine depreciation expense
- Any other general ledger review and reporting responsibilities as assigned
- Assist with special projects when necessary.
Required Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting from four-year college or university and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High volume Balance Sheet reconciliation experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong research and communication skills, with an attention to detail
Preferred Education and Experience: - SAP experience a plus.
- Retail, DTC (Direct to Consumer) Experience a plus
