Share Email Opening Title Product Support Specialist  Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintains direct contact with customers, dealers, authorized service stations, and OEMs. In addition, responds to customers' needs and records details of customer contacts and actions taken. Develops and maintains positive business relationships with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s). Provides information about products and services and coordinates returns. Works with customers and/or distributors to receive accurate account of equipment failures and provides reports to management. Focus of work may be in pre-sale or post-sales or both. Review, process, and track all incoming purchase orders and outgoing bids in response to request for quotes. Updates and maintains processing time metrics for new and repeat incoming orders/contracts, the on-time delivery report for administrative, engineering, non-recurring engineering lines and, the past due backlog report. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 2 year degree plus a minimum of 4 years direct aviation/aerospace industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative. Ability to successfully adapt/respond to different types of situations. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
