JOB SUMMARY The overriding business objective for this position will be to process sales orders for materials or merchandise from customers and sales staff. Will follow order from placement to delivery and verify orders for accurate price, parts, and quantity. Will maintain records for sales including: order status, shipping dates, availability, back orders, sales order log and associated documents. The key performance objectives for this position are described below: Provide support to Contracts and Program Management teams. Prepare shipping documents and invoices as required by contract requirement and/or company policy. Filing, invoicing, sales order file maintenance, distribution of shipping documents, and maintaining customer matrix. Coordinate responses or information with other organizations. Interface with customers to provide requested price and delivery and/or services in prompt and courteous manner. Provide professional guidance to manufacturing, test, production control, and materiel as it relates to spares and/or CRR. Reception duties - lunches, breaks, PTO coverage. Assist customers and employees with daily/weekly monitor updates or special projects that are given to the front desk. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School degree and previous customer service required.
