GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To oversee the operation of Financial Services of the United Church of Christ, and to serve as Treasurer of the United Church of Christ Board, the covenanted ministries, and other related organizations. The CFO is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, and other regulatory and advisory organizations in accordance with financial management techniques and best practices. The CFO will also have responsibility for overseeing the areas of Property Management & Insurance, Information Technology and Building Services.
