Oversee daily operations of the Plant Human Resources Department including recruitment/retention, safety, security, benefits, and employee relations. Coordinate all recruitment functions including temporary help, placing help wanted ads, interviewing, selecting, and new hire orientation. Coordinate all aspects of the Plant Safety Program including accident investigation, safety training, report filing, and chairing the Safety Committee. Perform comprehensive facility safety audits quarterly to ensure compliance. Supervise activities of the Human Resources Administrator. Develop and implement effective Employee Relations Programs. Ensure that employee's questions and comments are addressed, as needed. Manage the Employee Benefits Program. Issue reports, as required, including disciplinary action. Ensure that plant operations are conducted in compliance with the Work Rules and Employee Handbook. Coordinate the administration of disciplinary action to ensure that it is fair and consistent.

Position Requirements Bachelors degree in Public Administration, Business, Human Resource Management, or closely related field or equivalent experience. 5 years experience in Human Resources as a Generalist. 3 years experience in supervision or management. Professional Certification (PHR/SPHR) desired. Excellent people and communication skills required. Sensitivity to employees concerns and questions. Knowledge of Workman's Comp regulations, and familiarity with OSHA standards
