Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field, or equivalent work experience is required. MBA preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of customer mission, buying behaviors (acquisition organizations), and major programs and systems. Knowledge of competitors and ability to model competitor behaviors in the market. Demonstrated success in being a key contributor in winning contracts >$100M. Current customer contacts and the ability to maintain customer relationships with senior or director level officials.
Skills: Creation of strategic account outlining vision, objectives, strategies and tactics consistent with corporate strategies and objectives, and action plans. Developing overall win strategy. Experience participating as a valued contributor on opportunity captures; capture role includes:
- Developing overall win strategy;
- Shaping deal with Customer;
- Developing team strategies, and identifying and closing with teammates;
- Understanding pricing and assist in developing winning price; and
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer requirements and competitor strategies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required.
