POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Testing Analyst will work specifically with loan delivery and test business rules and calculation logic. Must have test delivery backgound along with User Acceptance testing and be able to write test scenarios.

General Description of Duties:

  1. Analyze requirements, plan and prepare test data for business rules.
  2. Provide the test lead with accurate estimated LOE for completion of design, authoring, and execution of test cases.
  3. Create test case data using XML.
  4. Design, write and execute tests using test scripts or GUI.
  5. Ensure that test case standards are adhered to for all test cases.
  6. Report results and issues in a timely and accurate manner.
  7. Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing development/business partners with sufficient detail to understand, replicate and resolve.
  8. Report and track incidents (defects) by providing reproducible test cases, and working with other product team members to close incident reports.

And other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Software Development or related field or equivalent experience of 6 years.

Experience: Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience with Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac or similar organizaiton in the software in addition to experience testing business rules systems and mortgage industry experience/knowledge.

Skills: Strong logic and analytical skills as well as demonstrated experience with Jira. Attention to detail is critical for this role. Must have strong XML generation and manipulation skills and able to demonstrate knowledge of some or all of the following: DOORS requirements management system, XML Spy, Gherkin and SQL. Mortgage origination application knowledge, mortgage origination terms knowledge (loan purpose, amortization type, LTV etc.), secondary Mortgage application knowledge (Loan Delivery) are a plus

Unique Requirements: Local travel between worksites may be required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
