To contribute to analysis of genes and gene expression in order to associate response to drugs with potential mechanisms, genetic mutations, or immune profiles. What are the primary duties of this position? To isolate RNA and/or DNA from tissues, manage electronic inventories of samples and data, test and report on alternative extraction methods, and participate in downstream analyses of RNA/DNA. What technical skills are required? Exposure (e.g. through lab courses) to molecular biology laboratory techniques, excellent record keeping, basic knowledge of excel and powerpoint, attention to detail.
