The Export Control Analyst is the Subject Matter Experts (SME) for the International Trade Compliance regarding U.S. Government export regulations. JOB DUTIES: • Advises Program staff and provides guidance on U.S. Government export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). • Provides export control services. • Obtains necessary export authorizations to support full compliance with all regulatory agencies. • Interfaces with international trade departments.   Position Requirements REQUIRED: • 2+ years related work experience in export/import licensing and/or compliance • Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, FMS (Foreign Military Sales) and US Government regulations • Professional oral and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and on global teams PREFERRED: • 1+ years working within an Agile development environment • Knowledge of DoD training and personnel knowledge, skills, and abilities evaluation programs • Technical training certification or equivalent experience • Experience with virtualized networks • Experience with cybersecurity analytic tools   Full-Time/Part-Time   Shift -not applicable-   Position Export Control Analyst   Number of Openings 1   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   About the Organization DAWSON is a SBA Certified Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) 8(a) small business with over 23 years of experience providing innovative and cost-effective solutions to our clients across the globe with offices in Hawaii, Guam and throughout the Continental U.S. The company is owned by the Hawaiian Native Corporation (HNC), a non-profit organization, controlled entirely by Native Hawaiians with a mission to perpetuate the sovereignty of Native Hawaiians and positively impact the communities in which we work.
