Share Email Opening Title Shipping Manager  Astronics Subsidiary   Location   Description Astronics CSC is moving into an environment where every customer is looking for special shipping and labeling requirements. Candidate will be managing the work in the shipping department that ships both domestic and international. Candidate will assist in the total range of shipping duties using established policies and procedures as defined by ISO. Manage and assist in clerical and computer system functions relating to shipping. Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment by performing the duties to quality and productivity standards. Will need to follow export requirements and manage expedited shipments. Reports to two direct reports.   Position Requirements MRP/ERP knowledge Has worked on Fed Ex & UPS online Experience with exporting with Fed Ex and UPS. Schedule Trucks by weight class Approve Shipments Must be detail oriented Verify accuracy of paperwork and instructions prior to shipment Other duties & functions may be assigned to this position as needed. Working knowledge of ISO/9001/14000 and AS9100 processes.
