Responsible for the supervision of the Facilities Projects Team and coordination of projects between contractors and the departments within the casino. Ensures construction operations are in accordance with applicable building and safety codes and Grand Casino Policies and Procedures on all entities and properties under the control of Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
? Coordination of project schedules with casino operations to minimize disruptions to both while keeping casino operations priority.
? Develops and appropriately maintains status reports on all projects.
? Works with internal departments in the development of capital projects, budgets, contracts, procurement and construction.
? Maintains projects files to include but not limited to: budgets, close out information, warranties, as-built drawings, manuals, contracts, etc.
? Establishes and maintains a solid relationship with local building code officials.
? Communicate with appropriate department management for coordination and implementation of project goals and timelines.
? Responsible for directing 'trade skilled associates' (Carpenters, Painters, Electricians) during routine maintenance projects to ensure project completion, safety and cleanliness.
? Ensures that all cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment are used in accordance with the manufacturer instructions and all OSHA safety rules and regulations are followed.
? Interacts with guests and other departments in a professional and courteous manner.
? Any and all other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
? Three (3) years supervisory experience required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
? Three (3) years project coordination/management experience.
? If required, must be able to pass company pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
? Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority, and follow all relevant DGR's.
? Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
? Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group situations, and to moderate-sized gatherings of associates, executives and/or community leaders.
? Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
? Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.
? Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and technical documents.
