Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Two (2) years of banquet server employment or food and beverage supervisory experience.

  2. Two (2) years of guest service experience in F&B, including knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette experience.

  3. Supervisory experience with training experience preferred.

  4. High School diploma or GED.

  5. Effective communication skills-verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions and has exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.

  6. Physically able to:stand and/or walk for long periods of time, exposed to second hand smoke.Able to perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands and fingers and able to bend, lift and maneuver 25lbs.

  7. Flexible work schedule - weekends and holidays.

  8. Professional appearance and grooming.

  9. Must possess or obtain food handler certification and an OLCC server permit within 30 days of employment.

  10. Requires a high security gaming clearance.

  11. Must be at least 21 years of age.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Knowledge of POS system.

 
Description

JOB SUMMARY

Assist the banquet manager with front of the house banquet operations by promoting quality service delivery and skills with all the banquet staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Promote exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient and friendly service.

  2. Assist with training and performance monitoring of all banquet servers on F&B standards.

  3. Assist banquet manager, as directed, with supervision of staff to include performance coaching, counseling, employee training and staff scheduling.Shall provide performance feedback to the manager for team member performance reviews.
  4. Assume responsibility of operation in the banquet manager's absence.

  5. Maintain effective

  6. All banquet servers will report to the banquet lead for final instruction on setting up space for an event. The banquet lead will be made aware of any last minute changes pertaining to the event.

  7. The banquet lead is responsible for proper storage and cleaning of all banquet equipment.

  8. The banquet lead must be able to assign tasks to banquet servers, and teach banquet servers to follow instructions.

  9. Promotes a clean, safe and healthy environment for employees and guests. Promptly addressing hazards and reporting concerns to the banquet manager.

  10. Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures and safety codes, etc.

  11. Ensure that operation of equipment, tools, and materials are handled in a safe manner.

  12. Promote a positive work environment and assists in building a strong overall team.

  13. Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.

  14. Performs other duties as assigned.

 
Salary $12.00-$16.00
