Description

About the Job:

In coordination with Engineering, Operations and Planning establishes and maintains inspection, modification and maintenance workflow processes that maximize efficiency and ensure consistent performance of repetitive work scopes. This position will improve production processes and devise efficient systems that integrate workers, tooling, materials, and information.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years’ experience planning or supervising heavy maintenance in a corporate or airline MRO environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office products to include Excel, Project, Access, Word, Visio and Outlook
  • Excellent operating knowledge of data base applications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management Methodologies
  • Outstanding Communication and Presentation Skills
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (Desired)
  • Previous maintenance experience specifically with Dassault Aviation F50, F900, F2000, F7X series aircraft (Desired)
  • Six Sigma, CCIM or other Lean Certifications (Desired)
  • PMP Certification (Desired)
  • Experience with Corridor ERP Software Application (Desired)
  • Bi-Lingual – French (Desired)

Principal Duties:

Productivity, Methods and Process Engineering:

  • Analyze production processes and determine methods and procedures that maximize efficiencies with a focus on repetitive tasks, e.g. Inspections, STC’s, MODs, SB’s.
  • Develop methodologies and processes that support interdisciplinary collaboration and harmonization for complex projects.
  • Ensure Human Factors Engineering disciplines are utilized in production setup and configuration
  • Create and manage documentation and work instructions for production activity that supports standardization in terms of:
  • o Work flow
  • o Tooling
  • o Material allocation
  • o Schedule
  • Determine requirements and subsequent investment options in terms of material inventories, tooling and manpower.

Process Measurement and Improvement:

  • Define key production measures
  • Define goals and data capture/analysis for key measures
  • Measure actual performance vs. budget goals and investigate variance
  • Perform root cause analysis to improve poor performing processes
  • Provide training on procedures for company personnel on process-related issues, including the use of analytical tools and techniques.

Program Management:

  • Facilitate and Lead process improvement teams
  • Manage program/project teams to ensure program stays on schedule, on budget, and meets performance expectations
  • Conduct small scale/medium scale tests to determine operational feasibility, implementation methods and training requirements
  • Conduct network wide implementation
  • Transition support activities/responsibilities to long term business and technology owners

Corridor ERP Work Pak Administration

  • Is the primary business process owner for Work paks
  • Define methodologies and process for the use of work paks to ensure business requirements are achieved.
  • Develop and manage work paks to support canned squawks.
  • Maintain revision control of work paks to ensure references to technical data, tooling and materials are accurate
