SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting Sr. Engineers in the effective overall management of business applications. Will work with other IT associates and the Company to ensure that IT is delivering efficient and effective services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
h Assists in maintaining the quality and integrity of enterprise application systems.
h Ensures a superior level of user service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained throughout the properties.
h Performs Project Management oversight of enterprise application installs and upgrades.
h Assists with coordinating and installing enterprise applications maintaining data integrity and system quality.
h Assists with coordinating, installing and testing software upgrades.
h Conducts routine maintenance of enterprise application systems.
h Routinely inspects all enterprise application associated equipment on property, identifying potential problems and coordinating necessary repairs.
h Collects and analyzes enterprise application system performance statistics.
h Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the enterprise applications in order to provide technical support and guidance, as needed.
h Communicates with other departments to report and resolve problems with enterprise applications.
h Responds to the needs and questions of enterprise application users concerning their system related processes.
h Troubleshoots and isolates performance problems in production databases.
h Initiates, tracks, and renews vendor contracts.
h Initiates, tracks, and finalizes procurement requests and associated project budgets.
h Assists in developing and implements policies and procedures related to hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.
h Assists in developing and communicating standards for use, operations, and security of enterprise applications.
h Assists in developing and implementing disaster recovery procedures.
h Held accountable, to a high degree, for the quality and integrity of systems on property.
h Keeps fully abreast of trends and changing technologies as they relate to IT.
h Assists in creating, maintaining, and justifying IT's overall operating budget.
h Act as liaison with third-party support, Windows-based and/or peripheral hardware equipment vendor(s).
h Documents technical procedures for the Information Technology Department.
h Performs light housekeeping duties in the Information Technology Department, ensuring a clean, neat and orderly work area and a dust-free environment in the computer room and office areas is achieved and maintained.
h Ensures a superior level of user service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained throughout the properties.
h Consults with process owners to find solutions to solve business problems.
h Required to participate in on-call pager rotation.
h May perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
h Must possess superior technical skills, and be proficient in a variety of network and enterprise application systems currently in use by the company.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
h Associate's degree from an accredited school in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and/or experience four (4) years.
h Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with and supporting enterprise application systems, preferably in a casino environment.
h At least one (1) year experience with Project Management.
CERTIFICATIONS:
h Certified in at least one (1) of the following or an additional two (2) years working with and supporting enterprise application systems,
h Microsoft Server
h SQL Server
h AS 400
h Project Management
h MCITP
h MCSE
h MCP
