This position is in support of a U.S. government agency at various locations throughout the National Capitol Region. The Senior Cyber SME shall provide direct support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and CIO elements. Duties include: • Conducting technical interviews and interpret cyber data concerning suspicious CI and Information Assurance (IA) incidents to ascertain a CI interest and document reportable information. • Extracting information from digital media to support a CJ activity. • Gathering and analyzing all data that supports the CI activity for which the media is being analyzed, in accordance with the latest forensics guidance from the digital forensics community and internal SOPs. • Identifying potential high and critical FIE threats to the agency supply chain. • Planning and developing measures to mitigate the threat and assist the CIO in integrating those measures into acquisitions. • plan and conduct CI Support to Computer Network Defense according to DoDI 5240.23 to include Cyber assessments of agency networks.   Position Requirements Must possess an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly (Applicants who do not currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance will not be considered) Seven years of CI experience Graduate from an accredited CI Special Agent credentialing school. Must have completed the following courses from the Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy: Windows Forensics Exam (WFE) Intro to Networks and Computer Hardware (INCH) Computer Incident Response Course (CIRC) Forensics and Intrusions in a a Windows Environment (FIWE) Graduate of CI Collections in a Cyber Environment (CICCE) from JCITA.
