Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversees operational management of the program, including all Security Officers and Firefighters/EMTs. The PM also acts as the incident Commander (IC) during emergencies and is at the site during the normal work week and during emergencies. PM responds to all emergencies and incidents and conducts checks after normal work hours.

  • Oversee and ensure program performance, schedule & costs meet or exceed contract requirements.

  • Make personnel assignments and direct staff and ensure staffing levels are maintained.

  • Develop and implement budgets and schedules, responsible for the overall contract budget and cost/schedule control.

  • Develop and implement operational plans; oversee the operation of the crew.

  • Ensure the safety and quality of all operations.

  • Develop, implement, and oversee training program for all personnel; Ensure Training programs are met.
  • Work with Management concerning issues.

  • Work with Federal Emergency response agencies as well as with state, local and private sector entities.

  • Responsible for the oversight and direction of all Fire Protection, Suppression, Security and Emergency Medical Services operations.

  • Work with Human Resources during the hiring and firing process.
 
Position Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or Management or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the requirements of this position.
  • Expert in operations, developing staff, training, leadership, strategic planning, and problem solving.
  • Knowledge of Protective Services industry.
  • Knowledge of, and skill related to the development of program level correspondence.
  • Knowledge and skill in program assessment techniques related to resource allocation, risk management, performance metrics and project execution.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as customer service skills due to daily interaction with various levels of rank, authority and positions.
  • Ability to review an organization’s procedures and find ways to improve efficiency.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent leadership skills. (Demonstrated ability to motivate employees and deal with issues that may arise).
  • Knowledge of and skill related to the development of professional correspondence.
  • Skill in preparation, presentation, and evaluation of plans, designs, reports, and other correspondence.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening.
  • Must have a clean driving record and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
  • Must be able to pass a background security check.

Salary: $75,000 to $125,000 DOE
