JOB SUMMARY

The overriding business objective of this position is to manage assigned commodity and suppliers effectively by placing new orders and managing existing orders, resolving quality, delivery and cost issues as required, including supplier performance reporting.

The successful candidate will champion the customer experience by maintaining highly satisfied internal customers in Contracts, SQE, Receiving/Shipping, and Receiving Inspection and develop highly effective Supply Chain team and Supplier relationships.

REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES:

  • Analyze and interpret internal direct and indirect spend documents (ERP, requisitions, CARs and similar) to ensure appropriate processing of customer and business requirements.

  • Entry of new and revised purchase orders into business system

  • Support timely coordination with internal customers regarding new customer demand, timely and accurate PO entry.

  • Address root causes of items that reach Grief; timely disposition of MRB items

  • Timely sign off and flow down of ECN documents to supplier.

  • Facilitate timely response on all identified supplier SCARS and coordinate with QA to ensure supplier response is understood and accepted

  • Support achievement of supplier performance metrics and total acquisition cost savings

  • Support SBR process as scheduled, including development of related slide deck.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred

  • Knowledge of Operations Management /Supply Chain discipline, ERP systems and Supply Chain best practices. APICS/ISM Certification track desired.

  • Understanding of AS9100 Aerospace Quality Management Systems/AS9102 FAI requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Data entry skills including attention to related detail

  • Computer proficiency: Office suite software skills, experience with generating/analyzing data

  • Critical thinking skills; ability to identify, develop and support process improvement related to current position

  • Ability to effectively multi-task and work in team environment

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations

  • Willingness to engage in internal cross training opportunities and outside educational activities that further develop job understanding and career potential

  • Eligibility Requirement: Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
