**This is a full-time, field-based position that will cover Hillsborough County, FL. Candidates must possess a degree from one of the below mentioned fields of study. Must reside locally or be willing to relocate by May 9th.**

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides services for children and families to ensure a community without abuse, neglect and abandonment so all children grow to their full potential. Based out of Tampa, FL, this position is responsible for coordinating all services rendered to, and acting as a single and continuous point of contact for, the child or family until reunification is complete, transfer to adoption achieved or independent living is realized.

Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must be able to complete a three day new hire orientation class (Monday - Friday); hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Valid Florida Driver's License

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services, criminology, juvenile justice, psychology, sociology, counseling, special education, education, human development, child development, family development, marriage and family therapy, or nursing required.
  • Master's Degree in one of the previous stated majors preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience working in child welfare is preferred. Volunteer work may substitute for experience.
  • Child Welfare Protection Professional Certification (CWCM or CPI) preferred. Upon hire all Case Managers are required to obtain certification as a Child Welfare Case Manager.

Job Summary The Case Manager position is a Full-time position located in Tampa, FL. This position has a starting rate of $17.30 an hour; subject to increase based upon education, certifications and experience.
