Clinical Therapist-Independent Contractor: This position is referral based on an as needed basis with a potential for full time work in the future, however full time work is not guaranteed. Due to the client/family need of services of 4 hours per week, each case provides 4 hours of work and the average length of stay for each client in the program is 3-6 months. This position pays $60/hour.

The contract Clinical Theraqpist position will provide an array of therapeutic services in the client’s home, school and community to prevent future emergency room visits and inpatient stay as well as case management services. Each client is unique and may have issues with depression, anxiety, self-harm, bullying, etc. and we are looking for those that can assist the family during these difficult times and teach them the skills needed to be successful.

Contractor will:

  1. Conduct clinical assessments, safety planning and treatment planning as outlined in the contract scope of work.
  2. Provide crisis support as outlined in the scope of work.
  3. Provide services within the authorized amount which averages 4 hours per week per case.
  4. Complete and submit “billable” documentation prior to payment for services.
  5. Possess a strong belief in the unique power of families, utilize a strengths-based approach and embrace diversity in all forms.
  6. Ability to support clients with 24/7 on-call access as needed.

*This position will serve clients in southern Indiana.

Position Requirements
  • Licensure
    • LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC (in Indiana)
  • Experience
    • Child mental health experience preferred
    • Strong documentation skills
    • Ability to work effectively with families and treatment partners
  • Other
    • Proof of Professional Liability Insurance with minimum $1 mil/$3 mil minimums
    • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage.
    • Successful completion of background clearances
