POSITION SUMMARY

Seeking a Multimedia Developer to work with the Training Solutions team using the latest tools and design concepts to develop innovative eLearning and training materials as needed. In this position, you will work as part of a team to develop high quality, innovative Training and Education (T&E) products for The Army Distributed Learning Program (TADLP). The team will design, develop, and deliver an extensive range of distributed learning T&E products to include Interactive Multimedia Instruction, Digital Learning Content Objects, Analysis Products, Gaming, 3D Modeling and Simulations, augmented and virtual reality. The work will be performed at our office located in downtown San Antonio, TX.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop custom graphics and interface design (defining the look and feel of a project).
  • Design, define, and implement functionality within different media elements.
  • Capture, develop, and integrate audio, video, and graphics into courseware and other products.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of HTML and Flash-based courseware systems, as well as Captivate and Articulate courseware systems.
  • Develop custom interactive elements using pre-existing templates and code-sources.
  • Develop creative technical/design solutions within the constraints of bandwidth/hours per project with aggressive time schedules.
  • Provide accurate development time estimates and status updates for assigned tasks.
  • Effectively multitask in a fast-paced and deadline-based team environment.
  • Communicate clearly (both written and orally) across different departments/levels of project development.
  • Work occasional evenings and weekends if needed.
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field and/or 1-3 years of experience.
  • Required proficiency in all of the following:
    • Adobe Photoshop CC
    • Adobe Illustrator CC
    • Adobe Animate CC
  • Audio/Video/Image capabilities:
    • Capture
    • Edit
    • File size optimization techniques

  • Storyline 2/Articulate Presenter
  • Adobe Audition
  • Adobe AfterEffects
  • Adobe Premiere
  • Adobe Captivate
  • Sony SoundForge
  • SCORM/LMS experience and knowledge
  • 3D Studio Max (modeling)
  • Unity (game engine)
  • Microsoft SharePoint development
  • Experience in concept development, visual storyboarding skills, UI design
  • HTML5/XML/CSS/JS/Javascript/JQuery/Actionscript and their behavior in IE, Firefox, and Chrome
