Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Director, Learning and Development is responsible for the design and delivery of all non-technical learning and development activities focused on driving high performance across the organization. The role will oversee development programs aimed at maximizing employee performance and engagement. The Development and Learning Director will work extensively with cross-functional teams across the organization, particularly with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design and delivery of an integrated talent management vision and framework to build organizational capacity in support of kaleo's mission and strategic objectives.
  • Responsible for the design and delivery of organizational development, performance management, and leadership development initiatives to ensure achievement of organizational objectives.
  • Assess significant skill gaps in employee population impeding organizational outcomes; execute related training and development strategies to address high priority needs.
  • Use analytics to understand trends and show progress in talent development.
  • Help drive culture change as organization grows.
  • Develop Career Development Programs and maintain a catalog of training resources for professional development of kaleo employees.
  • Partner with division leadership to understand and implement leadership development and training programs that support ongoing business needs.
  • Educate business leaders on learning and development tools, methodology, resources, and processes.

Position Requirements
  • Master's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 10+ years of broad based experience in Human Resources serving in a strategically focused roles with an emphasis on learning and development initiatives
  • Experience in developing and delivering a broad range of learning experiences and training curriculum for an organization.
  • Strong vendor management skills.
  • Ability to effectively and constructively lead change in an organization.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems, e-learning platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal skills with ability to explain complex concepts and processes in simple language.
  • Sound, fact-based decision making skills.
  • Ability to manage in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong MS Office knowledge, especially PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to execute upon strategies and ideas successfully.
  • Strong influencing skills that can be leveraged in a matrixed environment.
