Assertive Professionals is in search of a Senior GIS Database Integration Engineer. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for the development, administration, deployment, and maintenance of custom geospatial applications. Duties shall include, but are not limited to, performing complex analysis, design, development and modification of .NET tools utilizing traditional RDBMS, NoSQL data stores, Hadoop File Stores and SOLR indexes. For Senior GIS Database Integration Engineers, the required qualifications are: - Current TS/SCI eligibility - A minimum of ten years GIS database experience within DOD or Intelligence Community - Five years of technical experience - Five years of leadership experience with the demonstrated ability to effectively manage junior personnel - Highly proficient in administering and deploying open source and commercial off the shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of intelligence organizations - Highly proficient in developing, administering and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and/or PostgreSQL in support of intelligence operations - Perform at high level/expert with intelligence systems architecture design and evaluation - Possess an expert working knowledge of the discovery, analysis and exploitation of geospatially oriented data and the management of that data within a variety of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant applications and databases - Possess strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of effectively directing subordinates - Possess high level/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data - Security+ certification.
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and an additional three years of general experience in the fields of targeting, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems. - At least 2 years of experience within the past three years with ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, SOCET GXP, OpenGeo Software Suite - Network+ certification - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification - SQL Server 2012 - Microsoft Certified Professional Server, Desktop and Active Directory certifications desired. - In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 1-2 years of additional targeted hands on experience may be accepted Salary range: $60,000-$65,000 Candidates meeting the minimum qualifications for this position can expect a starting salary of $60,000. Candidates who possess additional desired qualifications can expect a higher starting salary, up to a maximum of $65,000. |
