Share Email Opening Title Delivery Driver - Northeast Beverage  Description JOB SUMMARY: Deliver and merchandise products to customers on the assigned route in a timely and professional manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Deliver product to retail accounts Merchandise product on shelves and in coolers Pick up all empty containers , including kegs and bad product, and credit customers for the same Collect and organize all delivered invoices to be turned in to the office Maintain fluid levels in Company vehicles and proper care of the vehicles (daily cleaning) Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle Communicate problems, issues, and opportunities to the internal customer service team Consistently maintain personal behavior that meets the core values and standards of the company to include: integrity, professionalism, hard work, commitment, and teamwork. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Must attend all regularly scheduled meetings Responsible for all company property in your possession, including cash, company vehicles, computer, Nextel, and hand truck. Responsible for making deliveries to accounts within a specified period of time.   Position Requirements MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to drive a truck in excess of 26,000 pounds SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operation, set-up, inspection, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation. AND/OR Operate mobile equipment in congested areas or involving considerable variety of movement. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: Ability to ascend and descend stairs and traverse small spaces, remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, move about to access materials and equipment to perform job duties, operate basic tools, communicate with customers and co-workers, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Environmental Conditions May be subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including vibration and noise.
