Shift Lead

$11.25/hr. Benefits eligible. 40 hrs/week. Position manages 3-5 employees.

Start Time: 8am Stop Time: 4:30pm

Work Days: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday

  • Knowledge of and ability to use and instruct employees on cleaning solutions and functions
  • Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours per shift.
  • Knowledge and physical demands for any general cleaning functions, as needed to ensure all cleaning and service functions are completed to customer satisfaction.
  • Provide superior customer service to Mall Management; provide timely and courteous responses in order to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure Quality Control
  • Conduct Safety Training
  • Assist with coordination of schedules

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have the ability to proficiently communicate in English, spoken and written.

Must excel at standard janitorial responsibilities as your core duties, such as: mopping floors, sanitizing, trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, etc.

Must be able to work proficiently coordinate and lead a team of housekeepers, while remaining on task with your core duties.

Must be able to train new hires, and be able to manage conflicts within the team and/or any issues that are addressed with the client (the mall management team).

Must be able to work at a fast pace throughout the entire shift, as well as efficiently perform your duties in a crowded environment.

Must be able to exercise proficient time management skills in order to complete all routine duties, and be prepared for unexpected clean-ups, all within the timeframe of your shift.

Desired Experience, Education and Training:

Any previous housekeeping experience.

HS Diploma or GED.

Previous management experience
