What we expect

Job Description

The Equipment Operator is responsible for day to day operations and maintenance of company equipment as well as manual labor needed to support the construction operations of Phoenix Communication as well as, ongoing commitment to deliver outstanding service, sustainable sales growth and financial profitability.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Operating and maintaining mini-excavators and backhoes
  • Experience in running skid steers
  • Excavating job sites
  • Knowledge of material yardage and asphalt tonnage
  • Drive and perform manual labor as required

Position Requirements
  • Valid CDL A Interstate License
  • MA 2A Hoisting and Hydraulics License
  • RI Hoisting and Hydraulics License (a plus)
  • Current DOT Card
  • Osha 10 Certification (a plus)
  • Tri Axle Experience (a plus)
  • 2 to 4 years experience
  • Must be available to work any shift
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to travel up to 50% of time, including overnight(s)
