POSITION SUMMARY This position provides oversight of Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) Fuels projects both CONUS and OCONUS. Assist with the development of plans and specifications for Department of Defense fueling systems covering mechanical, civil, structural and environmental issues. This positions is responsible for assisting the Contract Officer Representative and Program Manager in the review and recommendation for approval of technical documents related to drawings, plans, specifications, along with contractor deliverables. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Assist government personnel with the Quality Control oversight of inspections and assist with the completion of inspection reports - Requires knowledge of federal, and/or local regulations and statutes, Air Force and Department of Defense regulations - Store, transmit, evaluate and/or present data generated in support of the AFCEC mission - Participation in project meetings at project location(s) - Manage several projects concurrently - Plan, organize, coordinate and participate in the activities involving AFCEC at disparate locations - Travel   Position Requirements REQUIREMENTS - BS/AS Degree with 11 years of Construction Management or related fields - Experience with Department of Defense construction related program management (minimum 5 years) - Experience with Petroleum Oils and Lubricants/Fuel Systems infrastructure repairs (minimum 3 years) - Ability to read and understand engineering design drawings, specifications and applicable technical instructions, plans and reports - Ability to work independently as well as with teammates - Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures - Experience working projects in host country (desired) (Must be able to pass a background check.
