SUMMARY:

Responsible for the handling of Guest transactions in a prompt and courteous manner. Responsible for the beverage service (including, but not limited to, beer, wine, and malternatives) to Guests in an assigned service station ensuring efficient and prompt service for Casino Guests. Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of beverage stations and equipment are in accordance with Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

  • Responsible for serving alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.

  • Responsible for serving beverages in a service station capacity to Guests in a prompt and efficient manner.

  • Responsible for the set-up, stocking, and teardown of assigned bars (including portable units).

  • Provides and replenishes beverage stock and supplies.

  • Responsible for receiving, issuing and keeping necessary records of liquor inventory and supplies.

  • Maintain a neat and clean bar station on a continual basis.

  • Knowledge of all beverage regulations.

  • Knowledge of the Dram Shop Act and bartenders responsibilities and rights under it.

  • Participate as a team member with all Beverage Servers, Barbacks, Utilities, Supervisors and any pertinentAssociates to ensure efficient operational standard.

  • Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures of the Venue.

  • Any and all other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • One (1) year restaurant, bar, or retail (or an accumulation of the three) experience required.

  • One (1) year of Money handling experience preferred.

  • Serv-Safe Certification preferred.

  • Alcohol Awareness(CARE) Certification preferred
