We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, creative, motivated and dedicated Assistant ECE. Key Responsibilities Assist with the implementation of a well rounded program that meets the developmental needs of Infants and Toddlers. Facilitate routines and program transitions for an assigned group of Infants and Toddlers. Assist with the recording of children's daily information sheets Work co-operatively with the Infant/Toddler teachers in maintaining a high standard of order, cleanliness and appropriate playroom displays throughout the day care. Maintain safe practices at all times, ensuring all play areas are safe from hazards. Participate in Kindercircle Day Care staff and/or program meetings as required. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. Qualifications Must be enrolled in an E.C.E. Program, or completed ECEA program in a recognized college. Working knowledge of ELECT framework Previous experience working with Infants and Toddlers Possess excellent behavior management skills that include problem solving, positive reinforcement and redirection strategies Current CPR and First Aid Certificate A clear health assessment, including TB test and up to date immunization shots Clear Police Reference Check within the last 2 months Knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act 2014, the Toronto Quality Assessment Tool and 'How Does Learning Happen?'
