Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides services for children and families to ensure a community without abuse, neglect and abandonment, so all children grow to their full potential. Based out of Orlando, FL, this position is responsible for:

  • Coordinating the services needed to assist the child, family, and other caregivers, working towards the goal of helping children reach their full potential.
  • Communicating with client, family, medical and behavioral healthcare providers, school staff, etc. to develop individualized service plans and to communicate client progress; conduct biopsychosocial assessments with clients and families; link clients with community resources to address needs identified as treatment goals and counsel clients according to service plan goals and objectives.
  • Conducting home visits based on individual child and family needs; document all casework and services in clients’ clinical records in a timely manner.
  • Participating in weekly treatment team meetings and prepare periodical progress reports; attend meetings as requested with multidisciplinary team, continuing education, and staff in-service training programs

Position Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Criminology, Juvenile Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Special Education, Education, Human Development, Child Development, Family Development, Marriage and Family Therapy, and/or Nursing required
  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working in child welfare (strongly preferred)
  • Targeted Case Manager Certification Preferred

Schedule:

  • Must be able to complete a Three-Day new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientations are offered in Orlando, FL.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid Florida Driver's License

Job Summary The Targeted Case Manager position is a Full-Time position located in Orlando, FL. This position has a starting rate of $13.46 an hour.
