ROHADFOX is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with regional offices throughout the United States.   Description The Program Scheduler will provide various planning/scheduling related tasks including preparing schedules, reviewing schedules prepared by consultants and/or contractors, for development and maintenance of capital improvement projects. Duties and Responsibilities of this position include: Supports the Project Team and stakeholders with time management and control. Establishes criteria for schedule development (schedule detail, work breakdown structure (WBS), etc. Develops and updates summary level as well as detailed schedules. Identifies major milestones, critical approvals and long lead procurement items. Creates reports for varying management levels. Determines reasonable schedule logic and constraints based on discussion with task owners and/or teams. Develops realistic activity durations based on production rates and available manpower based on discussion with task owners and/or teams. Assigns resources (cost, labor or material) to activities and develops cash flow reports and resource histograms. Evaluates critical and near critical path activity sequences. Assesses actual progress based on site inspections. Identifies schedule changes and trends. Develops earned value reports. Suggests corrective actions and/or develops recovery plans when delays are anticipated or occur. Supports risk allocation and value engineering workshops. Prepares scheduling specifications. Reviews architect and contractor prepared schedules. Prepares post construction as-built schedules and lessons learned reports. Manages the strategic aspects of large engagements and mitigates Ensures engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures take place for all practice engagements.   Position Requirements Maintain an up-to-date assessment of the contract through the schedule and document status and advise the Resident Engineer of any significant issues. Set up construction schedule information for computerization and enter data in the computer for processing. Assist contractor in developing, revising and finalizing their detail schedule. Review and assess contractors’ detail schedules with for compliance with contract milestones and restraints. Maintain the current construction schedule with approved and documented changes. Preserve the “target construction schedule” as approved with no changes or modifications to activity data. Facilitate corrective action in collaboration with the RE or ARE team. Evaluate schedule impact of change orders on the construction schedule. Develop alternatives to minimize delays to assigned contract(s). Performs field verification of schedule information. Strong to excellent understanding of Earned Value concept and calculations. Proficient in Primavera scheduling software Experience in analyzing contractor-prepared delay claims. Highly articulate, clear and analytical approach to problem solving. Clear decision making abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
