Intern: AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals - Finance LIFT Program (Summer 2018)

Location: Wilmington, DE

External Summary of Primary Responsibilities:

The Leaders in Finance Tomorrow (LIFT) is an internship program that provides the best and the brightest  students with a unique opportunity to gain meaningful finance and accounting experiences in the pharmaceutical industry. In addition to their finance assignments, the LIFT participants are involved in cross-functional training sessions and networking activities, including exposure to senior Finance leadership. Upon completion, our LIFT participants leave the program with invaluable business knowledge that provides them with a head start on their career

Major Responsibilities:

Assorted finance and accounting responsibilities including, but not limited to, budgeting, month end closing activities, forecasting, expense reporting activities, financial systems, deal analysis, auditing, and ad-hoc projects.

Compensation:Competitive hourly wage

 
Position Requirements

Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required
Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration majors considered
Preference of completion of second year at the undergraduate level

Graduating Seniors will not be considered for this role.
