PURPOSE:Function as a member of the PACT multidisciplinary team while demonstrating the clinical skill and experience to assess, plan, develop, coordinate, and provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to program clients with severe and persistent mental illness. To provide education, consultation to families, and crisis intervention services to clients assigned to the team, with a minimum of 85% of all services delivered in the community via assertive outreach.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in psychology, social services or a related field required; Minimum of two years experience working with clients with chronic mental illness required. Prefer experience in individual and group therapy, vocational services, or substance abuse treatment. Must be a Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor. Requires valid WA State Drive’s License and reliable, insured transportation.
PHYSICAL CONSIDERATIONS: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand, sit, bend, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, ascend and descend stairs, talk and listen. The ability to lift up to 40 pounds is occasionally needed. Peripheral vision is also required for this position.
