This is a good fit for an Engineer that wants to be involved in all aspects of a project from conceptual design through system development to final commissioning. Numerous system integration opportunities serving the Industrial, Power & Energy, Manufacturing, Commercial, Water and Wastewater Industries. As Control Systems Engineer you will be a key link in the development and delivery of control systems and technical services to Catalyst customers. Responsible for multiple aspects of the design, development, start-up, troubleshooting and service of the various equipment control systems offered by the Cogent family of companies. Successful candidates will have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment to build long term customer relationships. Position Responsibilities Include: System design and development, start up and commissioning PLC / HMI / MMI Control System Programming Development of SCADA Systems and Communications Networks Develop Web Based Interface and Historian Applications Instrumentation and Process Control Design and Integration Electrical, Motor Controls and Variable Frequency Drives Custom Control Panel Design System Testing, Commissioning, Start Up and Operator Training Project Management Prepare System Specifications Technical Sales Assistance & Scope of Supply Development   Position Control Systems Engineer   Position Requirements Skills / Requirements: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Technical Degree with equivalent experience Strong Computer Science & Technology Skills Strong Knowledge and Experience in: PLC / HMI / MMI Programming Data Logging, Database and Historian Technologies Industrial Networking and Communications Protocols Wireless Communication Technologies and Computer Networking AutoCAD Office Based Software Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, overtime and occasionally out of town with up to 25% overnight travel Creative, entrepreneurial and industrious people are Cogent’s most valuable asset.
