As Electrical Control Systems Designer you will be responsible for: Developing schematics, panel layouts, fabrication drawings and BOMs for pump station, MCC and telemetry control panels to meet common industry standards Creating control panel component and design standards and templates Assemble and review control panel submittals Work with Contractors to create interconnect drawings Work with Outside Sales or End-Users to determine project-specific requirements Work with Inside Sales and Engineering to assemble control panel quotes Mentor less experienced designers   Position Electrical Control Systems Designer   Position Requirements REQUIRED TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE: Experience designing control panels to NEC and UL508A standards Experience designing control panels with PLCs, PACs, SCADA or other programmable controllers Experience with AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software Must be able to interface well with internal and external customers Good communication skills a must DESIRED TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE: 5 years designing control panels to NEC, UL508A, UL698A standards 5 years designing control panels with PLCs, PACs, SCADA or other programmable controllers Advanced knowledge of NEC, UL508A and UL698A standards Experience with CSA, CE and ATEX standards Experience with pumps or other rotating machinery Experience with Variable Frequency Drives or Soft-Starters Experience with telemetry panels Experience in the Water/Wastewater field Experience performing Arc-Flash studies and calculations EDUCATION: 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field. Sufficient experience may be substituted for some education requirements for the right candidate.
