The major emphasis is in the area of assisting associates in resolving hardware and software issues by fielding telephone calls and email communication, diagnosing problems and performing troubleshooting activities. This associate will document, track and monitor the problem to facilitate a timely resolution. Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities A high school diploma, with post graduate education or equivalent work experience in maintaining state-of-the-art computer equipment, to include: PC related hardware, print devices, mobile equipment (tablets and cell phones), installed software applications systems and networking equipment. Knowledge of telecommunications systems, local area network design, installation & maintenance, basic wide area network, and computer performance monitoring Technical skills - strong knowledge of and works actively to improve their command of these skills Ability to travel, function independently, with some over night stays Strong command of all communication forms to enhance interaction with all associates and teams Effective communicator with excellent customer service skills Planning and organizational skills Problem solving abilities - understands and implements problem-solving techniques and methods. Works with teams to solve problems in a systematic and methodical manner.
